Just Kitty Corner from the Westin Bayshore
Sometimes it’s just about crossing the street.

There’s satisfaction in discovering something lovely just steps away.
Here on the seawall, we’ve come to know the rhythm of the mornings. The early risers with cameras. The jet-lagged travellers blinking into the Vancouver sun. The curious hotel guests who wander over, not yet sure what they’re looking for…until the scent of espresso and the clink of dishes draws them in.
If you happen to be staying just across the street, we’re already right here.
You’ll find us glowing in natural light, brewing flat whites the colour of cedar and smooth as silk. Our matcha lattes arrive with green swirls and floral steam. The drip is strong. The cappuccino, forte e cremoso, topped with thick, slow-set foam.
And the food?
We serve Avo toast the way it’s meant to be with thick ribbons of ripe avocado layered over country-style sourdough, crowned with a soft poached egg and dressed with toasted almonds, cherry tomatoes, and generous drizzles of balsamic.
Or maybe it’s one of those days that calls for a little sweetness. Our berry French toast is pillowy and golden, topped with seasonal berries, a shimmer of maple, and a dusting of sugar that glows like early light on water.
Everything here was made to be taken in slowly, especially the view…
…The marina just beyond the windows.
The joggers, the gulls, the gentle pull of the city as it stirs awake.
Sometimes it’s not about finding something far away.
Sometimes it’s just about crossing the street.
